Guide: How to Find Your Coordinates on Android or Apple Devices
If you're looking to trade a Pokémon with us and need to provide your exact location, here's a simple guide on how to find your coordinates using either an Android or Apple device. These steps will help you quickly and easily share your precise location, so we can come to you and complete the trade.
Finding Your Coordinates on Android Device
Open Google Maps:
Launch the Google Maps app on your Android device
Find Your Location:
Tap the blue dot that represents your current location. This will centre the map on where you are right now.
View Your Coordinates:
After tapping the blue dot, a card will appear at the bottom of the screen. This card will show your current address, and underneath, you'll see your coordinates (latitude and longitude).
Copy and Share:
Tap and hold the coordinates to copy them, then paste them into a message or chat with us. Alternatively, tap the "Share" option on the card to send your location directly through your preferred app.
Finding Your Coordinates on Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad)
Open Apple Maps:
Launch the Apple Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.
Find Your Location:
Tap the location arrow (the blue circle icon) in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will center the map on your current location.
Drop a Pin:
Press and hold on your location on the map until a red pin drops. This pin represents your exact location.
View Your Coordinates:
Swipe up on the information card that appears at the bottom of the screen after the pin drops. Your coordinates (latitude and longitude) will be displayed near the bottom of this card under the "Marked Location" section.
Copy and Share:
Tap on the coordinates to copy them, or use the share option to send them directly through a message or app.
